-3/8" in. drill bit

-Loop pliers or multi-grip pliers

- Riveter or Phillips screwdriver for final assembly

Before you begin, make sure you are working in a well-lit, stable and safe space.

A) Removing the pins
Place the racket firmly on a protected surface.
Operate from underneath the racket.
Tools needed: Small flathead screwdriver and long-nose pliers
Remove 4 clevis pins, rings and washers.
Remove the metal plates
B) Removal of the 4 or 6 rivets
Operate from below the plate.
Identify the central hole of the rivet heads.
Secure the rivet head with a vise grip to prevent any rotation.
Lubricate the head, drill at low speed with constant pressure.
Monitor for overheating
After drilling through the head, remove the stem and any remaining debris.

C) Professional (qualitative) advice
Stability: it's best to have one hand on the drill and a good grip on the clamp.
Check: if the rivet starts to turn, stop, tighten the vise grips, then resume.
Final cleanup: remove metal shavings before continuing the installation of the new parts

D) Assembly of the fixing
1️⃣ Choose the number of rivets to remove:
Remove only 4 rivets at the front of the plate, or all 6 rivets depending on the condition of your old fixings.
2️⃣ If you remove only 4 rivets
Cut out the bottom of the harness along the plate.3️⃣ Install the new fastener
Slide the new fastener between the front bottom of the old MSR harness and the metal plate.

The new fastener must always be installed in the four front holes.
Make sure it is perfectly aligned with the MSR plate.
