  • Snowshoe Maintenance & Cleaning Tips
Here are a few helpful tips and tricks to care for and clean your snowshoes:
Before storing them in their protective bag, always let your snowshoes air dry completely and wipe them down with a cloth.
If they’ve come into contact with salt or calcium, clean them thoroughly.
Clean, oil, or wax the metal crampons to reduce snow buildup, especially in warm conditions.
From time to time, check the screws, bolts, and straps—they might need a quick adjustment with a screwdriver or wrench.
Store your snowshoes properly. During summer, never leave them in a hot area (like a shed or attic) where temperatures exceed 30°C (86°F).
When out hiking, always carry a piece of rope—it can come in handy for a quick fix if a binding fails.Happy snowshoeing! ❄️🥾4o
